Information For Authors

Swamphen (ISSN 1839-843X) is the free, peer-reviewed journal of the Association for the Study of Literature, Environment and Culture – Australia and New Zealand (ASLEC – ANZ). It is part of an extensive network of journals that are of interest to ecocritics who seek to promote the creation, appreciation, understanding, and teaching of the human sciences from ecological perspectives; and who seek to share their knowledge for the benefit of all interested in research, reading, writing, media, teaching, and so on, in its engagement with place, ecology and the environment.

To submit an article (primarily following MLA style) authors must first Register with Swamphen. (Authors who previously Registered with AJE can skip this process). Once registered, Authors will be sent a user name and password. This will enable them to Log In as an 'Author' and upload submissions. To Log Out, to return to the Home page, and to Log Out as 'Author'
