About the Journal
Student Political Economy Review is a cross-institutional, open-access, blind-reviewed academic journal for university students writing in political economy and related fields. We publish research outputs as well as letters, perspectives, proceedings from seminars, talks and public lectures, book reviews and literature reviews. We accept submissions on a rolling basis for immediate online publication and collation in a regular print schedule.
We accept submissions from undergradute and postgraduate students at any Australian university. Authors do not need to be studying political economy, though only submissions in adjacent fields will be considered, including:
- economic sociology and anthropology,
- intersections of political economy with other fields,
- heterodox economics,
- history of economics/economic history,
- politics and political philosophy,
- international relations.
We encourage readers to sign up for the publishing notification service via Sydney Open Journals. Use the Register link at the top of the home page for the journal. You will receieve the Table of Contents by email for each new issue of the journal. This list also allows the Journal to claim a certain level of support or readership. See our Privacy Policy, which assures readers that their name and email address will not be used for other purposes.
